3PATAS or Carla Neila, Isabel Gonzalez and Santiago Hermosin, are the designers that came up with this interesting 3×3 modular table idea. The 3×3 is a collection of three tables that can be combined to form a unique larger table; although two of those tables are so small that they could be used as chairs as well. Whenever the two smaller ones are in use, a couple of especially designed bowls can be positioned in the two holes resulted by the removal of the smaller table, thus the main table can still be used as an actual table. I think this is a creative design for several reasons especially since it helps children see how things fit and work together which will hopefully happen while they are playing. I am sure most parents will appreciate the storage aspects for all of the small tys that tend to get scattered.
