The Milan Furniture Fair is the testing ground for some of the most innovative and unusual furniture designs from around the world many of which become mainstream items. This year's show will feature the likes of the Cloud Paper sofa from Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka which will be prototyped in paper as shown but will later make a debut in a similar fabric. This ruffled sofa series by renowned manufacturer Moroso of Italy is said to be “reminiscent of clouds in the sky or the flow of water”. Furniture Fashion will of course feature more from the Milan Furniture Fair in the near future.
