Mahogany is by far one of the highest quality woods when it comes to furniture construction. I found some Asian night stands made of mahogany from Tansu.net that caught my eye. Further, Tansu's products are made by hand and constructed using mortise and tenon joinery techniques. These techniques were employed hundreds of years ago to construct furniture without the use of nails. In today's furniture market, any company offering mortise and tenon joinery techniques typically indicates more expensive furniture due to higher labor costs.
