Exercise equipment in the home is often a catch 22. Sure we all need it, but it takes up a ton of space. Adjustable dumbells are a great accessory if you plan to have a weight training area. My wife and I have owned two sets of “PowerBlocks” for about 4 years now. I own a set that varies in weight from 5-50 lbs. whereas hers varies from 3-24 lbs. These adjustable dumbells are made by the PowerBlock company. A quick review is that they are very easy to use. There is a pin that can be pulled out and placed back into the set to change the weight amount. It only takes a few seconds to accomplish the weight change. It is a good idea to go ahead and purchase a stand as an extra option. We originally did not get the stand, but went back the next day and purchased one.
