The washing machine has two drums, which means it will let you wash two different loads at the same time. The outer drum will handle your regular clothes, the one that don't require any special attention when washing, while the inner drum will handle the more delicate items. That means you'll be able to wash colors and whites at the same time without worrying about any potential clash of the colors.
