Kartell has the perfect solution for imaginative bookworms with a constant need for change, and it’s appropriately named The Bookworm. The flexible bookshelf can be bent into any number of shapes, from a zigzag to a perfect spiral or any abstract form in between.
It’s available in three sizes, with either seven, 11 or 17 bookends included (at 126”, 204” and 322” in length, respectively) and each space between bookends can bear up to 20 pounds.
All are 7.5” high and 7.8” deep, ready to encase your favorite reading material in whatever type of display you’d like. The Bookworm is made of batch-dyed fire-retardant PVC, labeled for easy recycling. $425 for a shelf with seven bookends, $732 for the 11-bookend version or $1,115 for 17.
