We recently featured the Alder series from Brent Comber and thought we would follow up with his “Solids” collection which as the name implies includes an array of solid wood benches, stools, and occasional tables. A shot of the Chambers Art Hotel in Minneapolis lobby shows the Long Saddle 13 d x 60 w x 18 h 160lbs, and the Rite round table 17 d x 23 w x 17.5 h 150lbs at home among their modern art and furniture. Most of the collection is Douglas Fir with a clear finish which allows all of the natural graining and characteristics of the wood to show through.
