This pear shaped vase is on the cover of the latest Viva Terra catalog. The piece caught my eye and made me say, “that looks pretty cool”. I would not consider a pear a shape that I would associate in a vase, but in this example it has a nice look to it. The vase is constructed of recycled glass and measures 14″ tall and 9″ deep. It can also be used as a terrarium. For the terrarium, a few plants and sand is sent to create a miniature desert landscape that requires minimal maintenance. There is a hole on one side that provides access to the inside of the vase and allows you to place in flowers, water, or other objects. Price: vase only – $49; terrarium set – $79.
