A breakfast revolution might be upon us: the perfect piece of toast, no trial-and-error required. Although it’s not yet on the market as more research & development is required, the brains at Inventables Concept Studio are working on – wait for it – a transparent toaster. The concept mockups show two transparent heating glass panels standing perpendicular atop a sleek, rounded white acrylic base with a power/heat button not dissimilar to a power button on an Apple product. We have to admit, we’re not morning people, but watching a piece of bread as it slowly toasts itself to a crisp first thing in the morning does sound like a pretty sublime way to start the day. And just think – no more burned bread!
