The collection consists of tables, daybeds, flowerpots, sofas, and more.
The Glove Bed Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola, a well know name in European furniture design has made a big hit with two new beds. The Glove Bed is the latest part of a theme that includes a series of chairs, armchairs, and chaise lounges all with a similarly bold and tailored look.
Patricia designed this Molteni & C production with a wide-open front and contoured headboard making this masculine beauty right at home in most environments. I really like the small metal accent feet that add a nice modern touch to this great-looking bed.
The Tufty Bed got its name for obvious reasons and offers a soft and plush low-profile frame, making it a suitable companion for a wide variety of case pieces. This time Urquiola teamed up with top-notch maker B &B Italia bringing this more feminine hit to life. The Tufty sits low and firmly on the floor so you won't be tempted to hide things under the bed.
Kartell Foliage Seating System By Patricia Urquiola
Trust Patricia Urquiola to design something comfortable yet stylish. The Spanish designer once again joins forces with Kartell and this time the result is the rather imaginatively designed Foliage Seating System.
The Foliage Sofa will be exhibited at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan and as you can see bares the signature Urquiola style. Urquiola wanted to make the sofa appear like it grew naturally in plastic and hence the eaves form a crown resting on a framework of branches that virtually form a seat. The sofa features thermoplastic legs and a polyurethane foam seat which is upholstered in fabric in a leaf-shaped motif.
Caboche Hand-Blown Glass Wall Lamp By Patricia Urquiola
Calling the Caboche Wall Lamp just a lighting fixture would be unfair since it looks more like a work of art. The sculpturist presence of the Caboche is hard to miss and kudos to designers Patricia Urquiola & Eliana Gerotto for discarding traditional utilitarian design rules.
The Caboche wall lamp is made up of smaller transparent spheres, arranged uniformly in a spherical pattern and this helps in achieving a unique and hypnotic glow. Caboche is illuminated by a halogen bulb and its imaginative design evokes a sense of wonder.
Made in Italy by Foscarini, the lamp features a hand-blown glass diffuser and can be purchased from Hive Modern. Price varies according to size.

Patricia Urquiola's design prowess is well-established in the design continuum as most of her works focus on the congruent interplay of functionality with creativity. The CRINOLINE armchair series which has been designed for B&B Italia is no different and unlike most outdoor furniture is very high on the style quotient. For the collection, Urquiola uses black-white and black-bronze polyethylene weaves and stainless steel frames.

Contemporary Armchair 570 Gender by Patricia Urquiola
The outstanding armchair, 570 Gender, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is a new addition to the Cassina collection. A piece that combines both traditional and modern features with a refined and unusual design that resulted in an original accessory.
Gender is an innovatively shaped seat, made to create an extremely useful and beautiful addition to any space. A design that satisfies the desire for an amply proportioned chair that combines ultimate comfort with premium materials and state-of-the-art craftsmanship.
The 570 Gender contemporary armchair is available in five different color combinations, emphasizing the contrast between the soft inner part and the strong outer part, decorated with a colored leather edging that highlights its sinuous line. This design adapts to the body of the sitter and provides extraordinary comfort.
Available in either leather or fabric, in five different color combinations, this piece will satisfy the interior design requirements in both the domestic and contract areas. The ergonomic seating of this piece is perfect for relaxing after a working day, entertaining with family and friends, or just reading a book.
Patricia Urquiola manages to combine comfort on a large scale without being too bulky. The 570 Gender contemporary armchair is an invitation to experience total comfort thanks to the soft, variable-density CFC-free polyurethane foam, padding of its seat. The chair provides adjustable comfort with its clever recline mechanism: the back is designed to lean about 12 degrees under pressure and then automatically returns to its original position.
For this contemporary armchair, a pouf is also available in the same color combinations, with a leather footrest band to protect the surface from any damage.
Patricia Urquiola is a Spanish architect and designer that became famous for her unconventional, emphatic, and experimental designs that are blending humanist sensibilities and technical expertise. One of the few designers awarded by the King of Spain, Juan Carlos I, the Gold Medal of Fine Arts.

Design Guru Patricia Urquiola has lent her creative genius to the Pear 2 line of sanitary ware by Italian company Agape. The designer's signature style is palpable in every aspect of the series and the understated flamboyance is not to be missed.
