I Wish You Hadn’t Asked
Mankind has evolved over thousands of years, and so have its homes. From primitive concepts to modern works of art, houses have always been able to provide shelter from the dangers out there and, among other things, from the weather’s caprices.
Under normal circumstances, we wouldn’t be able to tolerate any water in our homes, but the “I Wish You Hadn’t Asked” is not just a personal home; it’s a work of art, an architectural piece conceived by The Glue Society for the Sculpture By the Sea Festival in Denmark.
The house is getting 200 liters of water per minute blasted into all its rooms. The water is recirculated, which means this modern art concept is not wasting any more water than it has to prove its point. Which probably is because we need good houses to stay out of the rain.
